Carol was appointed Regional Manager East Uniting Aged Care Victoria & Tasmania (UACVT) in January 2009. 

Prior to this appointment Carol had worked for Southern Health for over ten years.  In that time she managed community aged care services, community rehabilitation, community health and dental services as well as health promotion.

Carol has held a number of community service positions in Local and State Governments specifically in disabilities and home and community care.

Before moving into the health and welfare industry Carol began her career as a secondary teacher and moved to editing with an educational publisher.

Her qualifications include Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Behavioural Science, Bachelor of Social Work, Masters of Social Work and Post Graduate Certificate in Management.
