Helen Baker 
 
 

 

 

 

Helen Baker has been responsible for Human Resources for Uniting Aged Care Victoria and Tasmania (UACVT) since June 2004, in a model in which services are shared between UACVT and the Uniting Church in Australia Synod of Victoria and Tasmania (the Synod). Communications for UACVT was added to her portfolio in November 2008.

Helen had been Director Human Resources for the Synod for about 5 years prior to the establishment of UACVT, but was originally appointed as Assistant Manager in a resourcing role for the Synod.

With an early career in teaching Helen also has experience in a range of environments including industrial, importing and wholesale organisations.

Helen holds a Bachelor of Music, Diploma of Education, Masters in Business Administration and a Graduate Diploma in Labour Relations Law.
