Rob is a Minister of the Word in the Uniting Church.  He was ordained in 1982 and is currently the General Secretary of the Uniting Church in Australia, Synod of Victoria and Tasmania.

His ministry work has included: parish/congregational placements, church social chaplaincy, presbytery placements and Synod consultancy. He is a former Moderator of the Synod of Tasmania.
