Manor Lakes has received several letters of gratitude thanking staff for their fine efforts on Christmas Day. And the staff really appreciated receiving those letters.

They were faced with very particular challenges this Christmas. The power went out at 6 am and didn’t resume until 10 am. This was very challenging when so many residents needed to be prepared and ready for a special day with their families.

The Catering staff managed to give people breakfast and also prepare Christmas dinner.Â

Families and staff helped each other.

It was a day of challenges and everyone pulled together so it was still a special day and not the day of mayhem, it might have been.
