  •  Jul -  Strathdon Community awarded 3 years Accreditation
 2008
  • Mar 3 - 40th Anniversary & Presentation Day featuring the Victoria Police Pipe Band
 2007
  • Nov 27 - Strathdon Foothills Auxiliary celebrates 40 years
  • Nov - $50,000 Community Water Grant awarded to Strathdon
  • Community Partnership Committee merges into the Facility Council
  • Mar - Acquisition of 30 additional CACP’s (100 in total) 
  • Mar -  Formation of the Facility Council.
 2006
  • Oct 31 -  First "Presentation Day"
  • Sep 1 - Governance change from Strathdon Community Governance Council to UACV&T Board.
  • Aug 30 -  The Strathdon Community Perpetual Trust Deed of Gift executed.
  • Jul -  Strathdon Community awarded 3 years Accreditation
 2005
  • Feb -  Sir Arvi Parbo AC appointed as Patron, Strathdon Community.
 2004
  • Oct 30 -  Dame Phyllis Frost AC DBE 14-9-1917 to 30-10-2004
  • Jul 1 - Strathdon Community Governance Council takes the place of the Board of Governance.
  • Jun 16 -  Relocation of Mingara Day Activity Centre to 9 Jolimont Rd.
  • Mar 12-14 - The Inaugural Art Show with guest artist, Ron Trembath.
  • Mar 10 - Redevelopment Project Official Opening 
  • Feb 13 - Strathdon awarded an additional 10 Community Aged Care Packages (70 in total).
  • Feb 10 -  Mingara Day Activity Centre and Socialisation Groups awarded 3 years accreditation with a high standard rating, by HACC.
  • Feb 1 - Richard E McGarvie Hostel naming ceremony.
  • Feb - Final stage of the redevelopment project completed. This included the refurbishment of Nursing Home Central and the Day Therapy Centre. 
 2003
  • Dec - 3.3 million raised for the Redevelopment Appeal
  • Sep 25 - Strathdon Community awarded 3 years Accreditation
  • Jul 29 - Community Centre Official Opening
  • Feb - Stage 2 of the Redevelopment completed - demolition and rebuilding of the 60 bed Hostel, the new Community Centre, Services area & Administration block.
 2002
  • Jun 28 - Day Therapy Centre receives a Commonwealth Government Grant of $167,000 over 3 years
  • Apr - Mr Baillieu Myer as Chairman of Trustees of 'The Sidney Myer Fund', with Sir Arvi Parbo, undertake the inquiry "2020 Vision: Aged Care in Australia". The Sidney Myer Fund' earmarked a $1 million grant for this independent review.
  • Feb - Support Fund Grant for Strathdon announced by Hon. Bronwyn Pike - $500,000.
  • Feb 3 - The renaming of Hostel 15 as The Jack Faichney Memorial Hostel. Mr Faichney, who passed away May 6th 1994, served as Chairman on the Strathdon Council, from 1979 to 1993. 
 2001
  • Oct - Demolition and rebuilding of Hostel 17 begins
  • Sep - Completion of Stage 1 of the redevelopment (addition of the East and West wings of the Nursing Home).
  • Sep -  Strathdon's Community Partnership Initiative released
  • Jul 11 - Prime Minister John Howard visits Strathdon as part of the Aston By-election
 2000
  • Strathdon Council of Management to be known as Strathdon Board of Governance
  • Sep 25 - Strathdon Community awarded 3 years Accreditation
  • Jul - Day Therapy Centre & Mingara Day Centre awarded 4 years Accreditation
  • Redevelopment of Strathdon Community begins with Stage 1: Building of the East and West wings of the Nursing Home.
  • Strathdon awarded 60 Community Aged Care Packages
