Physiotherapy services are provided by our professionally qualified physiotherapists. Sessions are available on an individual or group therapy basis.
Individual sessions are available by appointment for a fee of $10.00 for eligible clients.
Group sessions are run by exercise physiologists, allied health assistants or physiotherapists. Sessions may include:

Our ‘Living Longer Living Stronger’, strength training program has been endorsed by the Council on the Ageing.
This program is designed to assist older people develop stamina, balance & endurance. Each session is conducted under the supervision and experience of a qualified allied health assistant.
There are a number of sessions throughout the week at a cost of $6.00 per session.
Our qualified speech pathologist assists clients and families with issues such as communication and swallowing disorders.
Individual speech pathology sessions are $10.00 for eligible clients.
Communication groups are also available for clients at a fee of $6.00 per session.
A qualified occupational therapist is available to conduct home safety assessments and modifications as well as group and individual sessions to address specific issues such as difficulties with hand function or any activities of daily living.
Cost: individual appointments $10.00, groups $6.00 and home safety assessments $20.00 each.
Our qualified social worker is available to offer support to individuals and families to address social & emotional wellbeing and adjustment issues as well as information about resources and referrals for further assistance – both group and individual sessions are conducted.
Cost: individual counselling sessions $10.00, groups $6:00.
Informal and drop-in sessions are not charged.

The following services are provided by consultants visiting the Elgin Street Centre for the convenience of our clients. Provision of these services is not funded by the Australian government.
Podiatry services are provided by Healthcare2You from the Elgin Street Centre.
Cost: individual sessions $24:00.
$23.00 per ½ hour individual session provided by our qualified Remedial Massage Therapist.
