Tanderra is conveniently located near the corner of Highfield and Hunter Roads in Camberwell. It is part of a small community and has established links with three churches of various denominations, local schools and shops. The residence provides 39 low-care beds offering ageing in place services and one respite care bed.

Known for its homeliness and warmth, Tanderra has a strong focus on working with residents and their family members to develop care plans for each person, according to their individual needs and wants.

Tanderra assists and supports residents to make ageing a meaningful part of life. Gardening and interaction with community, pets, children and family members are supported and encouraged, helping Tanderra to maintain a stimulating and rewarding home environment.  

All meals are nutritious and freshly cooked on the premises and resident’s individual preferences are catered for.

The residential aged care facility consists of single rooms with large built-in wardrobes. Residents and their visitors have lovely outdoor areas to wander and sit or they may choose to take a short stroll to a nearby park. A range of leisure activities are offered to residents to socialise, participate in and to enjoy.
