Access to a wide range of allied health and other services include: physiotherapy, podiatry, speech pathology, and dietitian and hairdressing services.


Lifestyle Program
A comprehensive range of social and recreational activities and programs are offered to our residents.

Our Lifestyle Coordinator oversees activities that have proven to be very popular. These activities include: gardening, creative arts, bingo, music appreciation, exercise classes (including tai chai and strength training), reminiscence groups and social activities.

We also take residents on weekly and regular outings and trips in our community bus. The outings and trips are also very popular and well attended.

Each second Saturday night, our residents enjoy an evening of home theatre and musical entertainment, with wine, cheese and dancing.


Palliative Care
24-hour nursing services and palliative care are available.


Volunteers
Our volunteers make a valuable contribution to the care of residents through their participation in the Lifestyle Programs offered at Tanderra. Their contribution enhances the wellbeing of our residents.  To register your interest in becoming a volunteer please click here.


Pastoral Care
Pastoral care support is provided at Tanderra to assist residents to meet their diverse religious, spiritual and pastoral needs.
