Noble Park provides an integrated model of service that includes 68 residential suites, offered in single bedroom accommodation with ensuites. Accommodation services include a 17 bed secure dementia unit in the Kankinya Wing, 17 low care ( ageing in place ) beds in the Jarrah Wing and 34 high care beds in the Corella and Grevillea Wings.Â
Respite care is also available.
The Currawong Community Centre on site provides day therapy and planned activities services.
The provision of In Home Services (Packaged Care) located off site, offers support services to enable older people to remain living in their own home and actively participate within their local community.
The community site is conveniently accessed from the Princes Highway and Eastlink, has a bus stop at the front door and is only a short stroll to the Namur Street and Marna Court Park reserve.
Uniting Aged Care has invested $16.9 million in redeveloping the original site, established in 1975, known as Trewint. The redevelopment was completed in 2011 and demonstrates Uniting Aged Care’s long term commitment to providing services for older people in Noble Park.
Residents at Noble Park are welcomed into a family environment. Trained staff delivers excellence in quality care and services 24-hours per day. They create a stimulating, happy and warm-hearted home, and demonstrate dedication and commitment in the delivery of quality care to all residents. A chaplain is also available for spiritual support.
All meals are nutritionally balanced and freshly cooked by the Chef on the premises. Individual preferences are catered for.
Noble Park has connections with three Uniting Churches: St Columba’s Uniting Church in Noble Park, Trinity Uniting Church in Dandenong and Dandenong North Uniting Church as well as other local churches. Noble Park also has links to the Interfaith Network that is supported by the City of Greater Dandenong.
A broad range of programs are available to assist and support residents to make ageing a meaningful part of life. Families and communities are encouraged to be involved in the planning and development of services. A range of leisure activities is offered to residents for their enjoyment and participation. The Trewint Sanctuary is a quiet space for people of all faiths to reflect, meditate and pray. It is also a multi-purpose area for a diverse range of services and communal events. Isabelles Café is open weekdays, with a variety of light meals, refreshments and beverages. The cafe leads out onto a lovely shaded patio area where all can enjoy the experience of fresh air, sunshine and chatting over a coffee.
