
Strathdon Community Day Therapy Centre offers a wide range of therapy services to older people living in the community as well as residents of Strathdon community residential aged care.
Strathdon community is co-located with its Mingara Day Activity Centre, which provides social and recreational programs to older people (Planned Activity Groups).
The Day Therapy Centre provides a diverse range of rehabilitation services to older people and those with disabilities living in the community.
The centre offers fast stream rehabilitation, long term maintenance programs, special focus groups and health promotion activities. A team of health professionals provide a high standard of rehabilitation services including:
- Medical Assessment
- Nursing Services
- Physiotherapy
- Occupational Therapy
- Remedial Massage / Myotherapy
- Speech Therapy
- Diversional Therapy
- Podiatry and Foot Care Services
Special focus programs provide effective care for clients with similar needs, addressing not only client’s physical, but also social needs. These programs include:
