Services Offered

Physiotherapy	Our qualified physiotherapists offer both individual and group sessions to clients. Group sessions include: Balance Groups Stroke Maintenance Group Parkinson’s Group Cost: $10.00 Tai Chi Group Golden Age Gym Cost: $5.00
Speech Therapy	Our speech therapist is involved in the assessment and management of communication and swallowing problems. Difficulties in these areas are common amongst older people. They can occur for a number of reasons including ageing, stroke, neurological diseases (such as Parkinson’s) and dementia. Speech therapy is available every Tuesday from 11.00am to 4.00pm. Cost: $10.00
Occupational Therapy	Our qualified occupational therapist can help in the following ways: Assess and modify the home environment to improve independence and safety. Provide advice regarding appropriate aids and equipment if required. Review performance of routine activities for safety and independence, such as cooking, dressing and managing in the home. Identify needs and assist clients to access the community resources such as community health centres, local councils, aids & equipment, day therapy centres and recreational groups. Occupational therapy is available on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9.00am to 3.00pm. Cost: $10.00
Nursing Services	A registered nurse is available to assist the day therapy clients if any health issues arise whilst client attending the Centre.
Diversional Therapy	Activities include: Chair exercises, active floor games, discussion groups, cognitive games, quizzes and social outings including picnics, concerts and luncheons at hotels. Our Centre offers group therapeutic activities on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10.00am to 2.30pm. Cost: $12.00
Remedial Massage / Myotherapy	Our qualified myotherapist offers individual sessions to clients on the following days: Monday from 9.00am to 12.00pm Wednesday from 9.00am to 3.00pm Thursday from 9.00 am to 3.00pm Myotherapists specialise in assessing and treating many muscular injuries and conditions.
Podiatry	Our qualified podiatrist offers individual sessions to eligible clients. Podiatry services are available every Friday from 9.00am to 1.00pm. Cost: $12.00
Foot Care Services	Our qualified Div 2 registered nurse offers individual sessions to clients on Thursday from 9.30am to 3.00pm. The foot care nurse provides foot care services including the following: Cutting and filling of toenails Removal of rough, dry skin Foot massage Cost: $12.00
