Strathdon Community offers couples and singles who are capable of looking after themselves 40 Independent Living Units
(Eight two-bedroom units and 32 single bedroom units) at the Jolimont Road site in Forest Hill.
Strathdon Community unit residents have access to a variety of programs and facilities including;
- Recreation activities
- Community areas
- Kiosk
- Meals
- Hairdresser
- Library facilities
- Day Therapy Centre

Fees
An entry contribution to the units is charged. This sum is held in trust for the resident during their stay in the unit. On leaving, the entry contribution will be refunded minus an amount retained by Strathdon Community. A daily fee is charged covering maintenance of the unit, the emergency call system, maintenance of the grounds.  Residents pay their own electricity and telephone accounts including connection fees.
