Uniting Aged Care - Ningana is a 72-bed aged care residence. It provides both high and low level care to residents. It also offers an 'ageing in place' policy, allowing low care residents to stay in a low care service when their dependence increases so that there is no need to negotiate a move to a new service and there is no need to adjust to new surroundings. Dementia specific care is available for residents within a non-restrictive environment, allowing access to outdoor areas.

Ningana is a home where residents are able to enjoy a caring and supportive environment, and respect and dignity for each individual is highly valued.

Situated within the rural community of Sorell, residents, friends and family relax in the outdoor gardens and feel comfortable to use BBQ facilities and games areas whilst enjoying the scenic rural outlook from every angle of the building. Residents enjoy gardening in our communal vegetable garden.

Each cottage wing has an individual lounge area with tea and coffee making facilities.

Our experienced nursing and care staff provide excellence in quality and compassionate personal care 24-hours per day.

Residents and family members are encouraged to be involved and make decisions regarding care and lifestyle choices. Regular reviews are facilitated with Care Coordinators and, Family and Resident Forums are an excellent way to be involved with the development of services and activities for residents at Ningana.

All meals are nutritious and freshly cooked on the premises at NIngana making it easy to cater for all individual needs and preferences.

Ningana consists of single rooms with individual ensuites.
