Lifestyle Program
A comprehensive range of social and recreational activities and programs are offered to residents. 

Our Lifestyle Team seek ongoing input from residents and their representatives in providing a range of activities.  Individual and group programs are available and include a range of activities such as: gardening, cooking, men’s group, bowls, discussion groups, religious activities, flower arranging, board and table games.  The dementia unit has a sensory program and an activity room in the unit. 

All residents are encouraged and supported to participate in the lifestyle program to promote optimal wellness and maintain socialisation skills.


Allied Health Services
A range of allied health services such as physiotherapy and podiatry are available to residents.  Payment for these services depends on your level of care needs.  Referral to occupational therapy, speech pathology and other specialist services is available   as required.


Volunteers
Our volunteers make a valuable contribution to the well-being of residents through their participation in the Lifestyle Programs offered at Strath-Haven.  To register your interest in becoming a volunteer please click here.


Pastoral Care
Our Chaplain provides pastoral care services to residents and their families through listening, conversation, providing pastoral counselling, prayer and worship. Their support assists residents, families and staff through the major life transitions that are part of residential care.

Church services are provided on a weekly basis and are ecumenical.

Strath-Haven is accredited by the Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency, in recognition of excellence in quality care and our commitment to continuous improvement.
